“Due to the serious nature of the threats detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence, and the (Regional Emergency Response Team) and the Dayton Bomb Squad were requested to assist officers on scene,” read a statement from the police department.
The complaint involved one residence, but neighboring units were evacuated and the area was blocked off while crews investigated.
Police took a male into custody and the bomb squad’s robot checked the residence.
Crews did not find any evidence of a bomb, according to police.
Huber Heights police issued the all clear at 3:23 p.m. Residents can re-enter the area.
