Child injured in crash involving Harrison Twp deputy

A child was injured in a crash involving a sheriff’s deputy Monday evening in Harrison Township.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records, the crash was reported at 7:54 p.m. at the intersection of E. Nottingham Road and N. Main Street and handled by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP Trooper Jason Whitner said that the crash was between a Harrison Twp. deputy and a Jeep.

A medic took a person from the scene to Dayton Children’s Hospital. Whitner said that the deputy was not hurt, and there were possible injuries to passengers of the Jeep.
