Dayton police ask for help IDing pair that stole car with children inside, may have robbed man

Dayton police are asking for the public’s help identifying two male suspects who the department said stole a car with two children inside and may have robbed a man at gunpoint.

On social media, police said the pair stole the car from the Sunoco gas station on Wayne Avenue on Wednesday, Nov. 3, before driving the car into the bushes and fleeing on foot.

DPD detectives believe the two also robbed a man at gunpoint on Clover Street the next day.

Anyone who recognizes the two are asked to call DPD at 937-333-COPS or Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP to leave an anonymous tip.
