A man was killed Friday night after crashing a car into a pole near Troy.
Police and medics were called around 8:30 p.m. to the single-car crash on Nashville Road near the intersection with West Market Street (state Route 55).
The driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was not identified.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Piqua Post is investigating the crash, Troy police said.
An OSHP dispatcher said crews were still at the crash scene and she did not immediately have further information.
