A 13-year-old boy was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Old Dayton Road in Perry Twp.
The teen was thrown from the vehicle during the crash that ended off the road in a cornfield. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Perry Twp. police said.
Crews were called around 3 p.m. to the 10000 block of Old Dayton Road near Diamond Mill Road, north of New Lebanon, after a driver lost control and crashed.
Two adults also were in the vehicle, but Perry Twp. Police Department public information officer Brian Douglas said he did not know their relationship to the teen killed.
“They both had minor injuries but nobody was transported to the hospital,” Douglas said.
The deadly crash is under investigation by Perry Twp. police and Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
