For reference, the average high temperature of 45 degrees in Dayton occurs on February 26, 27, and 28th.

The NWS said that highs around 45 degrees is the average in Dayton on February 26, 27 and 28.
The cold temperatures came as slow-moving low pressure brought chilly, windy and damp weather.
