Officer Chris Fairchild of the West Carrollton Police Department confirmed Monday the vehicle was recovered over the weekend.
“There was nothing of evidentiary value in the vehicle,” he said.
Fairchild said it is not known when the vehicle went in the water “but it’s been speculated that the vehicle had been submerged for a long time.”
