Juvenile falls 30 feet from grain bin in Darke County

A juvenile who fell 30 feet from a grain bin late Saturday night was flown to Miami Valley Hospital.

Deputies were dispatched at 11:56 p.m. to the 6100 block of state Route 705 following a report that a teen had fallen from a grain bin, according to a release from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

North Star Fire and Ansonia rescue treated the victim before the juvenile was flown to the hospital.

The fall remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
