Ohio voters are known for choosing the president. No Republican has ever won without winning Ohio, and no Democrat has done so since John F. Kennedy in 1960.

In the 2020 presidential race between Democratic challenger Joe Biden and incumbent Republican Donald J. Trump, the Associated Press declared Trump the winner.
