Bond $250,000 for man charged in Dayton child rape case

A 22-year-old Dayton man is charged in a child sexual assault case.

Kongwa Meshake was arraigned Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for three counts of rape involving a child younger than 13.

Bond was set at $250,000 for Meshake, who is pleading not guilty.

He was indicted Friday by a Montgomery County grand jury.

Meshake is in the Montgomery County Jail, where he’s been held since his Oct. 26 arrest by Dayton police.
