“Nothing was located during these sweeps,” said Riverside police Maj. Matthew Sturgeon.
Mad River Local Schools decided to increase police presence at the schools Friday as an extra precaution.
“The police are continuing their investigation, and we remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of all students and staff,” read a statement from the district.
