Missing 17-year-old Dayton girl returns home safe

Dayton police has announced that a 17-year-old girl last seen on Sunday has returned home and is safe.

Joyce Richardson left her home in the 3500 block of Cornell Drive around noon Sunday to hang out with friends. She was reported missing Monday after she missed school, according to police.

Police said Tuesday morning that they were worried about her well-being, but that she had returned home about six hours later.
