Power mostly restored to Montgomery County after downed line in Miamisburg

After a large power outage near Miamisburg Saturday afternoon, power has mostly been restored to the area. An AES Ohio spokesperson reported a line broke and created a short in the area.

Crews have found and isolated the line and are working to repair it. Most customers in the area should have power already, but crews are working to restore more outages in the area.

The cause of the broken line is unknown, though it may have been a fallen tree or an old line, AES Ohio officials said.
