Rain causes emergency phone outage at Dayton police station

The yellow emergency phone at Dayton police’s Wayne Avenue station is out of service due to the rain.

The police department reported a rain-related malfunction was impacting the phone at the 2721 Wayne Ave. station.

The phone service will be restored once weather conditions improve.

People can continue to contact police by dialing 911 for an emergency and 937-333-COPS (2677).
