A busy, more-than-half-mile stretch of Centerville roadway closed due to a water main break was reopened prior to 6 p.m. Tuesday, city officials said today.

Montgomery County Environmental Services notified city officials of the break on East Whipp Road late Tuesday morning.

Crews closed the road between Far Hills Avenue and Marshall Road for the repair.
