A woman found with multiple stab wounds was taken to a local hospital, where she is in critical condition, Bauer said.
A suspect is in custody but the Dayton Daily News is not naming him because formal charges have not been filed.
Dayton Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating this incident.
