Body Found In Field Near W. Third Street

Detectives in Dayton are investigating the death of a man over the weekend.

Authorities said early Saturday morning, officers found Antwon Rogers, 30, lying in a field off West Third Street. They said Rogers had a gunshot wound in his back.

Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.

At this time, police have not found the person responsible for the shooting.
