Miamisburg family displaced by fire

A family will be displaced this Memorial Day after a fire broke out at their Miamisburg home.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames mostly to the attached garage on Orchard Hill Drive around 6 a.m., but they say there is smoke damage throughout the home.

No one was hurt, and there is no word yet on the cause.

Miami Valley Fire District Battalion Chief Glenn Jirka said there’s no indication the fire is suspicious.

They are also working to determine how much damage was caused, he said.
