Can you help police ID man who used elderly woman’s stolen debit card?

Piqua police are asking for public help identifying a man suspected of using an elderly woman’s debit card within 30 minutes of it being stolen at the Kroger on Covington Avenue.

On social media, the Piqua Police Department said that on Monday, Oct. 5, at around 11 a.m. an elderly woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse at the Covington Avenue Kroger.

Within a half hour, police said, a man used her debit card at the Walmart on East Ash Street.

The man is described as wearing blue jeans, black boots, a blue winter vest/coat with orange shoulders, a black hat with an orange bill and a dark blue face mask. Police included photos of the man taken from surveillance cameras.
