“Diaper need affects 1 out of every 3 families in the United States,” Sarah Williams, executive director of Hannah’s Treasure Chest, said in a release. “We’re glad to have Once Upon a Child join us in closing the diaper gap for the area’s most vulnerable children.”
On Saturday, all nine area Once Upon a Child stores will hold a special “Bucks for Bottoms” Diaper Drive day. Shoppers who donate five or more diapers will receive $5 off of their purchase on that day only.
“Our stores are collecting diapers on a permanent basis, but April 30th will be a special thank you day for our clients who donate,” OUAC Director of Operations Kate Paynter said in a release. “We’re happy to help make life easier for families who are having a hard time providing enough diapers for their little ones.”
The list of participating Once Upon a Child stores can be found at www.onceuponachildcincydayton.com.
“We’re so excited to be able to work with wonderful organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area to provide clean diapers to their clients,” Megan Fischer, founder and executive director of Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, said in a release. “We believe every baby has a right to be happy, healthy and safe and are grateful for the chance to make that happen by providing diapers.”
New and open packs of diapers may be dropped off directly to Hannah's Treasure Chest, 124 Westpark Road, in Centerville. For more information, call 937-438-5039 or visit www.hannahstreasure.org.
