Circuit City Slashes Prices Prior To Closing

Electronics retailer Circuit City cuts prices as it looks to get rid of everything it owns.

Liquidation sales at many Circuit City locations started last weekend and will go through March.

Circuit City is closing all 567 U.S. stores, causing 34,000 people to lose their jobs.

Late last year, the retailer closed other stores, filed for bankruptcy and tried to find a buyer. However, during the country-wide financial crisis, no one was interested in buying the retailer.
