Air conditioner one day, concrete pad the next

JEFFERSON TWP., Montgomery County – One day, the 2.5 ton air conditioner was on its concrete pad next to the rental house that wasn’t currently rented in the 300 block of Maeder Avenue.

The next day, the pad sat empty, somebody having cut the wires and pipes connected, then carted the air conditioner away, most likely with the help of a truck.

At least the victim had model and serial numbers for the unit, which he valued at $700.

The closest neighbors said they did not hear or see anything.
