Apartment complex site of dozens of drug, heroin busts

Dayton drug detectives watching an apartment complex considered to be a known drug house, arrested a woman for possession of heroin.

Brandi Rose, 30, was arrested just before 11 p.m. Monday night coming out of the apartment complex in the 300-block of N. Smithville Road in Dayton. Officers said they've made more than 30 drug arrests at the complex just in the past month.

Police became suspicious after Rose exited the complex after being inside less than five minutes. Rose was approached by detectives as she walking on Radio Road. Officers found a knife on Rose along with a prescription bottle containing 1.98 grams of heroin and .77 grams of crack cocaine.

Rose is being held in the Montgomery County jail on felony drug possession charges.
