Bond set for suspected Piqua pet store robber

A pet store in Piqua was recently held up by a woman who threatened she had a weapon in her pocket.

Bond was set at $100,000 today for 51-year-old Nancy Jo Brown, who is being held in the Miami County Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Brown allegedly walked into RPets, 1596 Covington Ave., on Friday, kept her hand in her pocket as if she had a weapon and demanded money.

According to the police report, she took $500 and fled in a car waiting outside.
