Break-in attempt at Trotwood store unsuccessful

Burglars attempted, but were unsuccessful in attempting to break into Rich’s Oil on Salem Avenue Wednesday morning.

Trotwood police were dispatched to the convenience store at 4051 Salem Avenue around 1:20 a.m. after receiving an alarm from the business.

An employee of the store said glass was broken to a door, but no one made it inside and nothing was taken from the store.

It was unknown if surveillance video from the store caught the crime.
