Multiple cigarette packs were taken by the burglar, described as a black male,30 to 40 years old, bald, wearing black pants and black shirt, according to the report.
Police said a K-9 unit was called in to track the burglar but it lost the scent.
A witness told police the burglar ran behind a nearby IGA, and officers found empty cigarette crates behind the store, according to the report.
The store's surveillance camera captured a clear image of the burglar's face, and an evidence crew was able to lift fingerprints from items that the burglar touched, according to the report.
The incident remains under investigation.
