Cocaine, cash seized in Piqua drug raid; 2 arrested

Two people are jailed on felony drug charges following a bust Thursday morning at a home in Piqua.

The Piqua Police Department, along with the Piqua-Sidney Tactical Response Team, raided the house around 8:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Harrison Street.

Police seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia and money, according to a Piqua police release.

The tactical response team was called to help execute the narcotics search warrant because the home was deemed a high risk to officer safety, police said.
