Riverside man fatally shot outside a UDF in Dayton ID’d

UPDATE @ 11:08 a.m.:

A man fatally shot at outside a United Dairy Farmers was identified as 22-year-old Robert J. Traylor of Riverside, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy will be performed today, according to the coroner’s office.

EARLIER:

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed a 22-year-old man is the victim of a homicide after he was shot early today in the abdomen at a Dayton convenience store parking lot.

The shooting was reported at 1:18 a.m. outside UDF, 3026 Harshman Road. Police were called to the scene at 1:20 a.m. Detectives arrived shortly after, placing evidence markers near a gas pump where a pool of blood was visible.

The front entrance to the building has been taped off.

The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arriving, the coroner’s office said.

At this time, police have not named any suspects.
