Christopher Harvey, 24, was arrested at 7:05 a.m. at a residence in the 100 block of South Wright Avenue in Dayton. He was booked at 8:05 a.m. into the Montgomery County Jail, online jail records show.
Harvey is being held without bail stemming from the Sept. 3 incident on suspicion of four counts of felonious assault; one count of having weapons under disability for a previous conviction; and a misdemeanor charge for driving without a license. He also is suspected of violating parole, jail records show.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Harvey on Sept. 4, the day after police say he shot two male family members at a Burkhardt Avenue home as they fled following an argument. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
UPDATE @ 7:58 p.m. Sept. 4: Dayton police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of shooting two family members and causing officers to shut down a Dayton street and evacuate nearby apartments for nearly two hours.
Christopher Harvey, 24, is wanted for felonious assault and domestic violence after he allegedly shot two family members Wednesday night in the 4400 block of Burkhardt Avenue.
Dayton police Sgt. Monica Evans said Harvey reportedly got into an argument with the two male victims at a home there, and fired several shots at them while they fled. One man was hit in the buttocks and another in the shoulder. Both were listed in stable condition Thursday at Miami Valley Hospital Thursday.
Believing Harvey may be intoxicated and still armed with a pistol inside the home, Dayton police blocked off Burkhardt Avenue near South Smithville Road for about two hours, and called in the SWAT team. An officer used a bullhorn to call for Harvey to surrender. The Wright Landing apartments located across the street were evacuated during the standoff. Property manager Pam Moore said police were helpful in managing the situation. She had residents take shelter in the laundry room.
"My first concern was to get everybody to safety and then get out to the street and see if there was anything I could do to first respond and help (the shooting victims) until help could get there," Moore said. "I feel the whole evacuation was handled well, though, and police did a good job of protecting us and keeping us safe."
After officers determined Harvey wasn't inside, they executed a search warrant at the home. Evans said detectives located a bag of narcotics, which will be tested at the lab. She did not indicate if a weapon was found.
Anyone with information about Harvey's whereabouts is asked to call police.
UPDATE @ 9:30 a.m. Sept. 4: An arrest warrant has been issued for Christopher Harvey, who is suspected of shooting two people on Burkhardt Avenue Wednesday night.
Harvey is wanted on one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence.
The two shooting victims remain in the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Police said Harvey was arguing with family members prior to the shooting.

UPDATE @ 10:55 p.m. Sept. 3: Detectives on Wednesday night were awaiting a search warrant to collect evidence from a double shooting inside two residences in the 4400 block of Burkhardt Avenue.
"We found two people who had sustained gunshot wounds," Dayton Lt. Mark Ponichtera said. "They both were transported to Miami Valley Hospital. They are in stable condition."
Police also searched the area on foot and using a K-9 unit, but were unable to track the shooter or a second suspect they are looking for in connection to the shooting.
Neighbors were not likely to remain in danger following the incident, Ponichtera said.
"I don't believe this is a random act of violence," he said.
The lieutenant said the early investigation has led police to determine the incident was the result of an altercation with "possibly some level of intoxication involved."
UPDATE @ 9:52 p.m. Sept. 3: SWAT stormed a home where a suspect accused of shooting two people was thought to have barricaded himself inside.
However, police did not find the suspect.
Officers also did not find any more shooting victims.
Police are allowing residents to return to their homes.
It is unclear whether the shooting suspect is believed to still be in the area.
UPDATE @ 9:22 p.m. Sept. 3: SWAT is preparing to go into the house where a man has been holed up after police say he shot two people.
UPDATE @ 8:49 p.m. Sept. 3: Police are using a bullhorn, calling for the shooting suspect to surrender.
"Christopher Harvey ... come out with your hands above your head," the police are commanding the suspect by name, over and over.
Police also are trying to find out the suspect's cellphone number to reach him by phone.

A SWAT team has been called to a shooting incident tonight in Dayton.
Burkhart Avenue is shut down in the area of South Smithville Road after there were two people shot inside a residence.
The suspect is believed to still be armed with a handgun in a house nearby, which is across the street from an apartment complex. The apartments have been evacuated by police.
One victim reportedly was shot in the buttocks and another victim had more serious injuries. An ambulance was seen leaving the area with a police cruiser following it.
