Drugs, guns and cash found in Dayton apartments

Members of the Montgomery County RANGE Task Force made two arrests Wednesday ending what members called “a long term investigation.”

Terry Jeffery, 45, was charged with drug trafficking along with several other charges. Jeffrey Hunter, 29, was arrested on a suspected charge of drug trafficking, drug possession and having weapons while under disability.

RANGE Task Force members along with BCI and ATF went to two apartments on Elsmere Avenue on Wednesday. Inside the homes, law enforcement found thousands of dollars in cash, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and two handguns, according to a release.

The incident is still under investigation by the Montgomery County RANGE Task Force.
