Dump truck crashes off U.S. 35 East, Beavercreek

UPDATE @ 9:23 a.m.

Police said the front right tire of the Rauch Construction dump truck blew out, causing the vehicle to careen off the road and over an embankment.

The driver is OK, but the truck was damaged and diesel fuel was spilling into the field off U.S. 35 East, just east of Trebein Road.

The right lane is closed and is expected to be closed until the dump truck is uprighted and removed.

FIRST REPORT

A dump truck ended up on its side in a field after traveling off of U.S. 35 East near Trebein Road this morning.

The truck reportedly was spilling fuel and early reports indicate Beavercreek firefighters worked to free at least one occupant from the wreckage.

It’s unclear if there are any injuries involved.
