Four officers responded within 3 minutes of the call and shot the gunman dead through a glass window of the bank lobby, according to Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters.

THE VICTIMS:
The three people killed have been identified Thursday evening as Pruthvi Raj Kandepi, 25; Richard Newcomer, 64; and Luis Felipe Calderon, 48, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
One of the two victims, identified as Whitney Austin, 37, of Louisville. She was hit 12 times by gunfire. She is in stable condition at UC Medical Center
The gunman has been identified as 29-year-old Omar Enrique Santa Perez.

THE SHOOTER:
According to police, Omar Enrique Santa Perez, 29, had been in the Cincinnati area since 2015. Cincinnati police confirm he was not a current or former Fifth Third Bank employee. Witnesses said the shooter was dressed in a business suit and had a handgun. Perez’s apartment in North Bend, Ohio, a village in the Hamilton County village of Miami Twp. near the Indiana border, was searched by police and sheriff’s deputies.
