Man who escaped Greene County custody recaptured

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office announced that it has caught an escaped inmate that fled from a deputy while at the Greene Memorial Hospital at 1141 North Monroe Drive.

Bobbie Lee Hagen, 32, was in custody for charges including theft, possessing criminal tools and obstructing official business, according to Greene County Jail records. He was arrested on Monday at the Walmart on Pentagon Boulevard, near the Fairfield Commons.

The sheriff’s office announced the capture about two and a half hours after requesting public health.
