INITIAL REPORT:
A Dayton man accused of making meth at a King Avenue home where he lived with his sister and her children is scheduled to be arraigned in court today, records show.
Glen A. Beverly, 36, was indicted last Friday on illegal assembly or possession of chemical for manufacture of drugs by a grand jury.
Beverly’s sister called 911 on April 4 to report what she believed he was doing in the basement and garage.
“We did find results from what appeared to be a clandestine lab for making methamphetamine,” Dayton police Detective Gregory Orick said.
A Dayton fire official said that the operation was not very sophisticated.
Beverly, who is currently in Montgomery County Jail, will face a judge this morning.
