A 25-year-old Trotwood man accused of ramming a woman’s vehicle last month was indicted Friday on numerous weapons charges.

Dashawn A. Pitts is charged with tampering with evidence, having weapons under disability for a prior drug conviction; carrying concealed weapons; and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

He is due for arraignment Tuesday.

According to Dayton police, Pitts had a gun in his vehicle on Jan. 23 when he allegedly rammed a woman’s vehicle while she was in the car. It  happened outside the Delphos Market on West Third Street in Dayton.

The woman told police that she and Pitts had an argument, and that when she got into her vehicle to leave he followed her and rammed the vehicle.

He initially also was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, but the grand jury declined to indict him on that charge.
