Man accused of raping, choking woman at Xenia park

A 23-year-old man accused of raping and choking a woman in a car at a Xenia park is facing rape and kidnapping charges.

Alexander Blake Breitfield was arrested April 15 after admitting to a Xenia police detective that he performed sex acts on the woman while choking her, according to a statement of facts.

“He admitted that the victim kept telling him no multiple times while performing the aforementioned sex acts,” said court documents.

The incident reportedly happened Feb. 20 at Spring Hill Park after Breitfield met the woman at her home to go to lunch.

When he picked her up, Breitfield “told the victim that she would have to sit in the back because the front passenger seat was wet,” according to that statement of facts.

Once at the park, he reportedly locked the car doors, got into the back seat and assaulted her.

The woman was unable to get out of the car because the child locks were activated, according to the statement of facts.

She reportedly told police that she met Breitfield about a month earlier on Facebook and knew him as Blake.

The woman was treated at Greene Memorial Hospital and had a sexual assault kit completed.

A Greene County grand jury indicted Breitfield April 19 on rape and kidnapping charges.

He is being held at the Greene County Jail on a $350,000 bond.
