Man in 'Drunk Lives Matter' shirt accused of driving drunk

Police arrested a Pennsylvania man wearing a shirt that said “Drunk Lives Matter” last month after authorities said he got behind the wheel of his pickup truck and drove while intoxicated.

Police stopped Gutshall after an officer spotted him erratically driving a green Ford pickup truck in the predawn hours of March 19. Officers said he appeared to be intoxicated and took the Newville man into custody.

Authorities drew Gutshall’s blood to determine his blood alcohol concentration at the Cumberland County booking center. The test showed his BAC at .217 percent, more than twice the legal limit.

Gutshall was charged with driving under the influence, highest rate; driving under a DUI suspension and various traffic violations.
