Sheppard was accused of stabbing his mother, Estella Sheppard, 84, and sister, Ralphael Sheppard, 57, during a Dec. 5 argument at their Hardacre Drive home.

Estella was taken to Greene Memorial Hospital, where she died.

Ralphael was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness at the home called 9-1-1.

“My friend stabbed his mom,” he told 911 dispatchers. “She’s laying here on the floor. She needs an ambulance … There’s blood everywhere.”

Winston Sheppard also called dispatchers while the man who witnessed it was on the phone.

“My mom and my sister got into an argument and I stabbed them,” he said.
