3 men indicted in double-fatal shooting in Dayton

Three men are now charged with murder in the deaths of two men following a December shooting at a Dayton home.

Daylequan S. Arnold Jr., 23, Deon M. Harris Jr., 27, and King A. Turner, 21, all of Dayton, will be arraigned June 18 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Dayton police were called in the early morning hours of Dec. 21, 2019, to the 900 block of Ethel Avenue in Dayton.

Police found Frankie McGee Jr. dead. A second gunshot victim, Christopher Huntley, was taken to a local hospital, where he died Dec. 28 of his injuries. Both victims were shot multiple times, according to a release from county Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr.

Arnold, Harris and Turner are accused of forcing their way into the home to commit a burglary, during which the two victims were fatally shot.

The three men were indicted for two counts of aggravated murder; four counts of murder; four counts of aggravated burglary; and four counts of felonious assault. Each count carries a three-year firearm specification.

Harris and Turner also were indicted on weapons charges.
