According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, the Union Twp. burglaries and break-ins occurred overnight June 15 on Iddings Road, Frederick-Garland Road and Ginghamsburg-Frederick Road.
The suspect entered two attached garages and stole items, some of which have been recovered, and also entered three other homes and stole from their cars.
The sheriff’s office also said that detectives already were familiar with Kleismit because they arrested him in February for three counts of breaking and entering for similar crimes Newton Twp.
Kleismit had been out on bail for those charges when the thefts in Union Twp. happened, and according to Clark County Jail records, he was arrested two days later on June 17.
Miami County deputies will present the most recent cases to a grand jury for consideration, and meanwhile have a warrant detainer for Kleismit.
