A vehicle was reportedly broken into on the 4500 block of Bonita Drive. However, the only item found missing was a Bible. The victim told police she believed her car doors were left unlocked. Other items in the vehicle’s glove box appeared to be moved around but all that was missing was the Bible.
A Middletown man told police he was a victim of identity theft. Section 8 housing recently contacted the man with news that someone was using his name, date of birth and Social Security number to inquire about a job at Pro Pack Logistics. The victim said he had lost his wallet a few years ago and was a victim of identity theft at that time. A man was charged and prosecuted in connection with the incident. The man said he did not know who was using his information this time. Police alerted Pro Pack Logistics of the identity theft accusation.

A prowler was reported on the 3300 block of Goldman Avenue. A resident called police after seeing a motion light near the rear of his garage turn on. In plain sight, the resident then saw a person in a dark-colored hoodie and dark pants run southbound on Lamberton Street, and then into the Lamberton Square apartment complex. No arrests have been made.
