PREVIOUS: Dayton man accused of killing woman in front of 4-year-old son indicted
He is incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail and was arraigned Tuesday.
Blanton is accused of shooting 32-year-old Krysten Connally five times in her head May 9 in the driveway of a home in the 3200 block of Hillpoint Lane in Dayton.
Witnesses and neighbors reported that the two argued before the shooting, and that Blanton was Connally’s ex-boyfriend.
Their child is now in the care of family members, Dayton police Lt. Jason Hall said last week.
