Body of missing 5-year-old found, Adams County Sheriff says

The body of a missing five-year-old was recovered after he went missing Monday evening, Adams County Sheriff Kimmy Rogers confirmed.

Authorities said that the Cameron Walter’s body was found in the water, but did not say where, according to WCPO TV. The boy was reported missing from Mineral Springs Lake Resort on Monday.

A Endangered Missing Child Advisory was issued for Cameron Walters before he was found.

Walters was reported missing at about 5:10 p.m. from the Mineral Springs Campground, according to the alert.

Mineral Springs Campground is southeast of Peebles. The area is about 85 miles southeast of Dayton.
