911 caller: Driver pushes woman from car in Miamisburg, ‘nearly ran her over’

A motorist who called 911 around 7:10 p.m. said he was one of several who stopped after a woman was pushed out of a car at a busy intersection.

“A lady was just, I guess, thrown out of a vehicle. Whoever was driving backed up with the door open and nearly ran her over,” he said.

The witness said the incident happened at the intersection of state Routes 741 (Springboro Pike) and 725 (Miamisburg Centerville Road). He described the vehicle involved as a green four-door sedan.

“Yes she needs medical attention. She’s scratched up,” the 911 caller said when asked if the victim was in need of care.

A woman was pushed out of a car tonight at a busy Miamisburg intersection.

The assault was reported around 7:10 p.m. at Miamisburg Centerville Road (Ohio 725) and North Springboro Pike, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

It was not clear whether the green four-door car was moving at the time, but the driver took off, reportedly on southbound Interstate 75.

Medics were called for the woman, but the extent of her injuries was not known.

Miamisburg police and Miami Twp. police went after the suspect, and it’s not clear whether the man, who has not been identified, was apprehended.
