Foster, 36, of Deerfield Twp., who co-owned the school with his wife, was arrested for the alleged offense that occurred sometime between 1999 and 2003 involving a child younger than 13, which was prior to the couple obtaining a Primrose franchise.
In a statement issued by Kim Englehardt, Primrose’s executive director of public relations and communications, that the “franchisees of Primrose Schools in Mason, West Chester and Symmes Twp., are extending offers of assistance to the families of the closed school, including special enrollment opportunities.
The statement also said the other nearby Primrose Schools also are talking with River’s Bend staff members about enrollment opportunities at their schools.
Donna Young, co-owner of the Primrose School in West Chester Twp. declined to comment.
Englehardt, through an email, referred all questions to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office as it’s an ongoing investigation.
After Foster’s arrest, some parents removed their children after being notified by representatives from Primrose Schools corporate office in Georgia.
The River’s Bend school offered daycare and kindergarten and had announced plans to add one first-grade class this fall.
Foster is slated to appear for a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mason Municipal Court.
