UPDATE: Person of interest named in Riverside shooting

Deion Dae Sean Moore was named as a person of interest in the June 12 Riverside shooting of a teen.

“We want to talk to him to get his side of the story otherwise we only can go off of what the other side is telling us,” said Major Adam Colon with Riverside police.

The teen shot in the back last night in Riverside has been released from Miami Valley Hospital, according to a police incident report.

Police said they have a person of interest in the case, but are not releasing the male’s identity at this time.

Police said the injured teen “was involved (in) an altercation ... with another group of individuals” near Prince Albert Boulevard and Broadmead Avenue.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.

A juvenile boy was shot at least one time in the back in a late Tuesday night shooting, Riverside police said.

The boy was in stable condition at Miami Valley Hospital, police said.

His name and age were not released, nor whether police had any suspects in the shooting reported around 10 p.m. in the 500 block of Prince Albert Boulevard. The boy went to a Valero gas station at 2531 Valley St. in Riverside to get help.

According to reports, the suspect’s vehicle is a gray Pontiac G6. Multiple gunshots were reported around 10 p.m. on Prince Albert Boulevard.

No information was available about what led to the shooting.
