Man shot, gets ride to hospital by passing motorist in Harrison Twp.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was injured in a shooting in Harrison Twp. early Friday morning.

Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Idle Hour Drive around 12:24 a.m. on a reported shooting.

Once on the scene, deputies realized the victim had left the area.

While investigating, the man arrived at Grandview Hospital.

Deputies discovered that the man was shot after a person approached him in parking lot, according to the sheriff’s office.

The person then fled.

The victims ran onto Turner Road and got a ride to the hospital by from a person driving through the area.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate and we will update this story as more information is available.
