The car allegedly didn’t stop for the deputy, according to the report, and then rolled through a parking lot where the driver jumped out of the car. Moten then allegedly ran through a yard, deputies said, and fell into a bush where he was arrested. Lavender was also arrested in the vehicle by other deputies who arrived on scene.

While searching the car, deputies alleged they found 24 grams of cocaine and 2 grams of fentanyl bagged ready for sale, as well as some oxycontin pills, according to court records.
Both Moten and Lavender were placed in the Clark County Jail.
Moten pleaded not guilty and his bond was set at $42,500. Lavender also pleaded not guilty and her bond was set at $25,000.
