Daryl Jamar Harris Sr. is accused of running from Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies on foot patrol the night of Dec. 5 in the Creekside Townhomes in Harrison Twp.

He also allegedly tossed a handgun as he ran, which prompted deputies to issue a “signal 99” officer needs assistance call for all county agencies, and fought with deputies who were trying to detain him, according to the sheriff’s office.
