Officers made the arrest at the checkpoint on 5000 Free Pike and also issued three citations for driving under suspension.
Two citations were issued at 4825 Salem Avenue for driving under suspension and one misdemeanor summons was issued for possession of marijuana.
A total of 245 vehicles passed through the checkpoints.
